The West Jersey Chamber Music Society, under the direction of Joel Krott, finishes its 2021–22 season with two beloved choral masterpieces: “Requiems – Fauré and Rutter” on Sunday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m. The in person and live-streamed concert features the singers of the West Jersey Chamber Chorale and West Jersey Chamber Orchestra as well as First Presbyterian Church Adult Choir performing Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem and John Rutter’s setting of the same mass, in celebration of the life of C. Harry Knowles ~ 1928-2020.
There is no cost to attend, and no free-will offering will be taken. The event is fully underwritten by those who loved Harry. The live video broadcast will be available at concert time at www.fpcmoorestown.org/live-stream. .
WJCMS is committed to finding inventive ways to bring music to residents near and far. The free livestream, from the organization’s home base at First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown, allows for expanded community access to the concert.
